Pay It Forward is a program of the Foundation for Innovation in Society, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-2320329). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law — a receipt will be emailed to you.

What happens to your gift

Your meals go into the community meal pool. When a neighbor reserves a meal and picks it up, the restaurant partner that served it is paid from the pool. Shelters and outreach teams that are community partners also order meals from the pool for the people they serve.
